FAQs
How do a relatively few number of Rol-Hoppers replace the need for multiple trucks?
A small number of Rol-Hoppers can replace a large number of trucks by eliminating the need for multiple trucks to haul your crop to each storage facility. A single truck or tractor tows every Rol-Hopper in rotation to and from your storage facility, constantly rotating the actual bins into and out of usage. In that way, a single truck or tractor does the work of multiple trucks by staying in a constant state of movement by constantly rotating multiple Rol-Hoppers into and out of your fields.
How do you load a Rol-Hopper in the field?
To load a Rol-Hopper in the field, you simply open the top and pour your crop in directly from your harvester, just like you would with a traditional trailer. Its efficient design allows you to maintain the same harvesting methods you've always used while still replacing a large number of expensive trucks with a fleet of Rol-Hoppers. That way it's quick and easy to convert your crop transportation to Rol-Hoppers, easing the transition to this system.
How is a Rol-Hopper loaded onto the trailer once filled?
Our Rol-Hoppers load onto their trailers the same way any large roll-on bin does. The trailer is raised into the loading position and the Rol-Hopper is attached. Then as the trailer lowers back to its traveling position, the trailer is loaded. This method makes loading each Rol-Hopper an efficient process, making transporting your crop to storage quick, easy and, most importantly, less expensive.
How is a Rol-Hopper emptied once it reaches a storage location?
The Rol-Hopper is emptied much in the same way the bin is loaded onto the trailer. Using the trailer's hydraulic lift, you simply raise the end of the trailer and use the crank-to-open door and you're already emptying the Rol-Hopper. Once the bin has been emptied, just lower the trailer and the Rol-Hopper is ready to be put back into rotation in your fields.
